Hana Jeon, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist on the team of experts at Lumos Dermatology® in New York City’s Flatiron District in Manhattan.
Dr. Jeon graduated as a John Harvard Scholar from Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts and earned her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to complete her dermatology residency at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, where she was selected as Chief Resident and awarded the Frank L. Coulson, Jr. Award for Clinical Excellence. After her residency, Dr. Jeon continued to refine her skills with fellowships in laser and cosmetic procedures and Mohs micrographic surgery.
In her work at Lumos Dermatology®, Dr. Jeon specializes in laser and cosmetic procedures, Mohs surgeries, and reconstructive surgeries to treat skin cancers. She’s active in her field, serving as a proud member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Jeon also contributes to her field by publishing research in her subspecialties, such as pediatric dermatology, skin cancers, laser and cosmetic procedures. Her work has been published in many of the leading research journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
